I feel very honoured to have been invited to appear at the Guildford Book Festival 2011. I will be running a one day workshop on thriller writing, called THRILL AND KILL on Thurs 20th October and then on Sat 22nd I will be part of a magnificent CRIME FICTION DAY. I will be discussing crime fiction with controversial themes with Kishwar Desai and an author I much admire, NJ Cooper.
I am very excited to be returning to my old primary school, Longacre in Shamley Green, Surrey, where I will talk about Antarctica. I spent time on this wonderful continent as part of my research for my next thriller, THIRST, and look forward to sharing my photos and adventures with the children.

I have been invited by the Manly / Peninsula Division of the Fellowship of Australian Writers to speak on the topic of ‘Write what you’re passionate about’ at Warringah Library at 2pm, Saturday 9 April. This talk will inspire anyone who has a passion to tell a story or, if you simply enjoy a good thriller, then come along and hear how thrillers are written and ask questions. Even get L.A. Larkin to sign a copy of her current novel, The Genesis Flaw.
