Am so excited to be attending the inaugural Stella Prize lunch on 18th May. The Stella Prize joins forces with The Hoopla to celebrate Australian women’s writing. The host is Wendy Harmer, along with Tara Moss, Di Morrissey, Anne Summers, Anita Heiss, Anna Krien, Sophie Cunningham, and other leading women writers for a fun-filled lunch of literary laughs, trivia and conversation.

The Stella Prize is Australia’s first major literary prize for women’s writing, and will reward the best book by a woman writer each year, regardless of genre. It will celebrate and recognize Australian women’s writing, encourage a future generation of female writers, and significantly increase the readership for books written by women.
