Thank you to everybody who entered their furry friend into Avon Books’ Monty & Me competition for one lucky dog to appear as a character in the next Monty And Sidebottom Mystery. All the dogs entered were wonderful, but I loved Lady B’s hypnotic charm, which could prove very useful when extracting information from a reluctant informant. I also love the idea of such a dainty dog getting muddied up, a bit like the army do when they want to be camouflaged.
